Sanchez hit his 500th career home run off of Vancouver's Matty Morgan in the 4th inning of the 9/28 PM1 game. It was a solo shot that just cleared the fence in leftfield.
The 32-year old should be able to pass all-time home run leader Pedro Alvarez, who has 596 HRs, in two to three seasons. It's ashame that an old owner moved him down to the minors in seasons 3 & 4 because he could have more HRs than Alvarez.
